Easter
The word is mentioned only once in the KJV in Acts 12:4 and some say is a translation of the word pascha. However, the word “pascha” is actually translated as passover. The intentional use of the word easter in this verse is to indicate that it's referring to the pagan holiday easter. Herod the King (Agrippa the 1st, grandson of Herod the Great) had James, the brother of John killed. Then he had Peter put in prison during the days of unleavened bread, which starts AFTER the passover. There were several men named Herod in the Bible, the one referred to in Acts 12:4 is likely Herod Agrippa the 1st. He was a pagan Roman who celebrated “the queen of heaven”.

Divorce
The Bible is clear on marriage. It is for one man and one woman for the life of each. We only see exceptions mentioned in Matthew for fornication, and this is likely because it was geared toward a Hebrew audience that was familiar with the Mosaic law. The exception made in the book of Matthew was fornication. Fornication is similar but not the same as adultery. One is outside of marriage, the other is within. The punishment for adultery under the Mosaic law was death. You didn't divorce your cheating wife under the mosaic law, she was to be put to death. Fornication on the other hand, is something that is done outside of marriage. See Matthew 5, 19:1-11, Mark 10, Romans 7:2, I Cor 7, Luke 16, 17 & 18, Deuteronomy 22 & 24.Husband and Wife, Man & Woman

The so-called “lost books of the Bible”

Why does God kill the “innocent” in the OT?
Throughout the Old Testament, we read of entire groups of people being judged or destroyed, either by God himself, or through commandments given to His people to carry out His will. These things affected not just the men, but the women, the infants and aged. The skeptics claim this is proof that the God of the Old Testament is not the God of the New Testament and/or the Bible contradicts itself. Nothing could be further from the truth. The Bible explains the reasons for these things, but anyone looking to construct an argument can twist the scriptures to their viewpoint. That doesn't make it true. The great flood - Genesis 6 to 8
